Yes. The PhD program is offered online through Zoom and recorded lectures, allowing flexibility for students.
Each student is assigned a primary supervisor from UniMy Malaysia.
Yes. A co-supervisor is assigned from Pakistan or abroad to support students throughout their studies.
Yes. Students are required to complete two courses as part of the coursework before progressing further.
The dissertation phase begins after successful completion of coursework and Proposal Defense.
Students will have monthly online meetings with their co-supervisor and must submit a monthly progress report to UniMy through the Pakistan Support Office.
A close monitoring mechanism is in place to ensure that quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the program.
PhD (3 Years – Full Time): US$ 8,000
MS (2 Years): US$ 4,000
Scholarships are available and candidates may apply at the time of admission.
Yes. Need-based and merit-based scholarships are available for eligible candidates.
PhD fees may be paid in three annual installments or six semester-based installments
MS fees may be paid in three installments
Pakistan-based students: PKR 30,000
International students: US$ 120
Yes. If admission is not granted due to eligibility criteria, the application fee will be refunded within 30–45 days, after deducting:
PKR 5,000 (Pakistan)
US$ 25 (International)
to cover administrative costs.w
Yes. Students may transfer to the UniMy Malaysia campus during:
3rd semester of BS
2nd semester of MS
3rd semester of PhD
Transferred students will pay Malaysia campus fees, which are 80% or higher than Pakistan-based fees.
Yes. All grades earned through the Pakistan office (online) will be fully transferred to UniMy Malaysia. Tuition fees will then follow the Malaysia campus fee structure.
Students may choose to attend:
Convocation in Malaysia (UniMy Campus), or
Graduation ceremony in Pakistan
Yes.
PhD students: Two residencies
MS students: One residency
Residency duration may range from two weeks to one semester. Students are responsible for airfare, accommodation, meals, and related expenses, including those for final defense at UniMy Malaysia.
Degrees and certificates are awarded after full verification by:
Malaysian Qualification Agency (HEC Malaysia)
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia
